Unless otherwise noted on our schedule, all events are held at the Hidalgo County Sheriffs Posse Arena located on Wisconsin Road, between business 281 and Sugar Road, in Edinburg, TX at 8:00 P.M.
Your thoughts, opinions, and votes count so please try to attend the monthly meetings where decisions are made. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 P.M. in the meeting hall on the Sheriffs Posse grounds.
Everyone must bring a current (negative) coggins report for any horse brought onto the premisis to the next penning/sorting event. We will make a copy for our files & you keep the original.
Did someone say we needed new picnic tables at the Posse Arena? Well check this out! Cousins Cito Main (16) and RodiTorres (14) built (by themselves) and donated the awesome new picnic table pictured below with members of the HidalgoCounty Sheriff’s Posse as the table was delivered to its new home. Now…is there anybody out there who feels up to the challenge of building and donating one too? We need more! You can carve or burn your name in the top like Cito and Rodi did and share a wonderful memory for years to come.
