Everyone must bring your coggins papers to the next penning. We do have a copying machine to make a copy of the original.
All events are held at the Hidalgo County Sheriffs Posse Arena in Edinburg, TX at 8:00 PM Your thoughts, opinions, and votes count. Please try to attend the monthly meetings where decisions are made. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM. We gather in the meeting hall at the Sheriffs Posse property in Edinburg.
Pennings and sortings are held at the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Posse arena
unless otherwise indicated, located on Wisconsin Road
between Business 281 and Sugar Road.

Remember you must have current coggins papers in your possession for each horse you haul at all times. Please make sure all coggins are up to date and papers are in your possession when entering the Sherriffs Posse grounds. If you have not brought them upstairs for logging into our book, please do so at the next penning or sorting you attend.
